I played the Atari 2600 when it was a new thing. I&#8217;ve called Compuserve on a 300bps modem from my Atari 800XL. I built my own PCs back when they had Turbo buttons and ran DOS. I finally got a Mac in 2000 and have never looked back \u2013\u00a0except <em>just now<\/em>! ;)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I have 18 years Mac endpoint administration and engineering experience in the marketing communications industry (aka the &#8220;ad&#8221; industry) and in more recent years I have worked in the IT departments of an ultra-large consultancy, a mega large retailer, and up-and-coming software company. <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/joel-bruner-3271926\/\" target=\"_blank\">LinkedIn<\/a> has all this in more detail. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I&#8217;ve written some <a href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/brunerd\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">neat open source tools<\/a> you are free to use<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I also love listening to <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"WLPN-LP 105.5 FM Lumpen Radio (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"http:\/\/lumpenradio.com\" target=\"_blank\">WLPN-LP 105.5 FM Lumpen Radio<\/a> &#8211; where I sometimes lend a technical hand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I&#8217;ve tried my hand at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=WQSyXF2v6hc&amp;list=PLXuADOyhsV8vYkqoen88oiSpxFL9I2edI\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">video art too<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I strive to keep things simple and elegant adding only the minimum of complexity required for a solution.
